Caddie perdu cherche son supermarché

Vu aujourd'hui près du boulot.

Lost shopping trolley is looking for its supermarket. Seen today near the office.

Ici, il y a un camion Carrefour qui tourne dans les quartiers pour les recuperer. Il parait que ces caddies coutent une fortune!

We used to live in a condo community in south Florida close to a supermarket. The old folks would take these home and leave them on the sidewalk. You'd find them everywhere. I thought it was funny but I don't think the supermarket people did!

Sometimes here these 'strays' are even locked up!

When I was a boy the local market paid me 25 cents ea to find and return them. Sometimes I found over twenty at a time. It seemed like a fortune to a ten year old. :)

Lausanne est composée de 3 collines. Des gens abandonnent les *chariots* de la gare., n'importe où. Mais cela fait un bon moment que je n'en ai pas vu. Peut-être qu'ils n'y en a plus à disposition.
